It starts with surrender…to God, to His Word, to His Spirit.
A godly man isn’t formed by performance, toughness, or outward strength first.
He’s shaped by submission, repentance, humility, and a desire to be made new by God from the inside out.
That’s the foundation.
But once that surrender is in place, real talk…grit, grind, integrity, and responsibility start showing up as fruit. 💪
Because now that man is being led by the Spirit.
Now he’s choosing discipline, standing on truth, walking in grace, and battling temptation, not to earn God’s approval, but because he’s already received it and wants to honor it.
So no, it’s not the grit that makes him godly,
It’s God in him who makes him gritty. 🔥
It’s not the grind that earns the title,
It’s the identity in Christ that calls him to grind for the right reasons.
Here’s the flow:
Surrender → Identity in Christ → Character & Integrity → Grit & Grind
Without that first step of surrender, all the grind in the world can still leave a man lost, prideful, or broken inside.
But when we start with Him? Everything else aligns with eternal purpose.
C’mon, my man, let’s not just try to be “better men.”
Let’s be surrendered men.
And watch God shape us into who we’re actually called to be. 💪
